Jodi Lava

Part-time Specialty Instructor

Jodi started teaching wellness courses with Physical Education and Wellness in 2014. Her passion for Health and Wellness started in college interning at a Public Health Department in upstate NY. After this, she moved to Boston and started teaching Health Education to high school students and became the Health and Wellness Coordinator for Everett Public Schools. She got her MEd in Health Education from Cambridge College and was able to teach in that program after she finished her degree. She started teaching college courses at Curry College and had the opportunity to be an instructor at MIT. She moved to South Carolina and was able to continue to teach at MIT and Cambridge College virtually and currently teaches Health and Wellness at my daughter’s school in Charleston, SC. In her free time, she coaches her daughter’s soccer team and enjoys the beaches in South Carolina.
