Diane Brancazio

Part-time Specialty Instructor

Diane started teaching ice skating courses with Physical Education and Wellness in 2023. She has a BSE in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Princeton University, and an ME in Mechanical Engineering from MIT. She has also achieved the USFS level of Adult Gold in Free Skating and Moves in the Field, and has been teaching skating classes for more than 10 years. She loves helping MIT students connect with their bodies, develop new abilities, and broaden their communities at MIT. Outside of Physical Education and Wellness, Diane leads the K-12 Maker Lab at the MIT Edgerton Center, supervises students working on underwater robots for high school students at MIT Sea Grant, and teaches a design class with Terrascope.
